The crash of 1929
The New York Stock exchange crashed. On the 24th the stock market began to crash and in an attempt to save the market, investors started to buy up large clumps of stocks in attempt to save it. However after that day stocks began to lose a lot of value and the US went into a depression. This crash had a large affect on business because as the stock market crashed so did large businesses. Then when people went to the banks and they could not get their money they began to become desperate. They could not afford to go to local businesses so slowly the economy began to die off.
