Progress Reports

Dr Strauss says i shoud rite down what i think and remembir and evrey thing that happins to me from now on. i dont kno why but he says its importint so they will see if they can use me.

We're on a Strato-jet about to take off for Chicago. I owe this progress report to Burt who had the bright idea that I could dictate this on a transistor tape recorder and have a public stenographer in Chicago type it up.

At the beginning, Charlie's progress reports are misspelled, missing punctuation, and full of grammatical errors. After the surgery, they are flawlessly typed with excellent vocabulary and brilliant ideas.
