Definitions-

Quanah Parker- he was a Comanche leader that disagreed with the Anglo American settlement on Comanche lands.

Cynthia Ann Parker- she was captured during a Comanche raid in 1836. She was raise by the Comanches and took on their cloture.

Frontier Regiment- in December 1861, the legislature made the frontier regiment.

First Battle of the Adobe Walls- a battle commanded by Colonel Kit Carson to end the raids for the Native Texans.
