Column Shaft from the temple Artemis
The fluted column shaft was found through excavations between 1911 and 1914. In its original position it would have stood fifty-six or more feet high. This workmanship is detailed from the base to the top. This column shows the influence that the Greeks had on Lydia and represents the Temple of Artemis.
