This room is in proportion because the bed is balance out with the artwork and the night stands. The things on the wall are not too big for the bed. The bed is pretty big itself, so the extra pieces of furniture even it out in the room. The relationship of the sizes and color of furniture make the design work.

This room shows scale because it has a very large mirror with other small pieces of furniture. The mirror stands out because of its size compared to the other furniture. It covers up the tall wall and balances the room.
