Sanabel

is the only main girl in the film. She is Palestinian, and is a dancer for a group that expresses stories in dance.

Sanabel is the most excited to meet the Jewish kids, and she convinces the other kids that it will help solve a lot of problems in the area.

When we see her years later, she is instructing her own dance group. Her father got out of jail, but her brother was arrested. She was appalled when the twins joined the army.
