Osama bin Laden & His Death

Osama bin Laden was the former leader of al-Qaeda, and the leader behind all terrorist acts within the organization of al-Qaeda. Bin Laden went to school in the Saudi port city, Jedda. He attended school from 1968-1976 and he has from 12-24 children. Osama bin Laden was assassinated on May 1, 2011 by US forces. It was a 12-year operation to find and kill Osama. The U.S. government tracked him down by torturing some al-Qaeda followers in order to get information out of them. The U.S. government then used those leads to track down where Osama was located. They then found the compound he was currently living in. President Barack Obama gave the official go, and a specialized team raided the house and killed Osama bin Laden.
