1) Simile: It's comparing her (Gemma) breath to her face. She is really sick.

2) Simile: It is comparing the smell of all the flowers to spring. The bouquets of flowers over powered the smell in the house.

3) Li: This guy makes her clumsy. She (Becca) can't think straight around him.

4) Setting: The setting takes place during the Holocaust and WWII. In the introduction it says how they take the 'original' sleeping beauty and place it during the Holocaust.

5) Allusion: It's making a reference to the story sleeping beauty. This book is also called Briar Rose.
