Background Research

Our topic is water pollution. This topic is applicable to the world we live in because the polluted water ruins natural habitat and many organisms can die from pollution in water. Through our research we learned that oil, heat, and natural substances can be a major impact to water pollution.
In the article "Requirements of Plant Growth," the topic of water is explained. If water pollution with non natural substances or harsh chemicals the plant has a hard time trying to grow and survive.
In the article," Air and Water Pollution," discusses how oil pesticides, fertilizers, natural substances, heat, and toxic chemicals are some of the major sources of water pollution.
