Tom Cruise was born on July 3, 1962 in Syracuse, New York. He claims he had a rough upbringing, especially with his father. He acted in school plays when he was in elementary school. But when he got to his teenage years he had hopes of being a priest. He got over being a priest and decided to go on with acting.
