Neap Tides

The Neap Tide is formed by the moon faces. They are First quarter and Third quarter. Most coastal areas, with some exceptions, experience two high tides and two low tides every lunar day.
A tide that occurs when the difference between high and low tide is least; the lowest level of high tide. Neap tide comes twice a month, in the first and third quarters of the moon.
