Chapter 1

The main point of chapter 1 is the telling of the gods point of view on a man named Ulysses and why they hate him. Also how the man Ulysses is a glunten and how he is banished.

The main point of chapter 2 is the telling of the assembly of Greece and the calls of the suitors and for a ship to go check up on Ulysses.

Chapter 2

The main point in chapter 3 is the telling of Telemachus meeting Nestor concerning Ulysses and Nestor tells him useless information. But does tell him about a man who can named Menelaus.
