Our topic is how PH affects the growth and bloom of plants. This topic is applicable to the world we live in because PH differs in all water, and it could either make a plant thrive, or die within the hour. Through our research we have learned about the effects of PH (Potential Hydrogen), Acid, and Alkalinity.
In the article from wikipedia “How PH Affects Plant Growing” The topic of plant growth is explained that PH levels can change the color of the bloom of a flowering plant, make the plant take longer to grow and bloom. In extreme cases (3-4 alkalinity) the plant may even DIE.
In the article titled "PH and Plant Growth" it talks about how it is important to have regular PH levels(6-7) because the plant could die if it gets too much or too little PH.
In conclusion the PH levels in soil can effect the outcome of the way a plant grows, blooms and reproduces and should be remembered whenever planting a flower in any extreme conditions.
