Pedanios Dioscorides was a physician that wrote a five volume book about most influential herbs that is still used today.

Galen was one of Rome's most known Greek physician. Galen studied the body and dissected on animal corps since it was against the law to dissect a humans body. Galen wrote many books on anatomy and helped teach about the human body to others.
