Some of the closer, less expensive, and adorably Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast's include Volcano House, At the Craters Edge, and Chalet Kilauea, all having amazing views and reviews! From all three, the drive to the National Park is ten minutes or less! There are two drive-in campgrounds in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, Nāmakanipaio and Kulanaokuaiki.
