Feeding nine billion people

The problem

The problem is simple the population is projected to grow rapidly. Consequently this will lead to a strain on our resources and food will be the main attention in the future, as without food we would simply not survive. According to the United Nations 21,000 die every day due to hunger related causes. Consequently with the rapid population growth the death toll will increase, in order for us to survive in the future we will need to find innovative ways to deal with the increasing population and the demands that our growing population needs.

The Solutions

All is not lost, there are many solutions to deal with the food crisis, my project is focused on the solutions of the problem that I have proposed. I will be discussing the following solutions: Science and Technology, food alternatives, distribution, water, changing the perspective on food, arable land and climate.
