De Amsterdam 1749: it was build in 1748. In 1749 was his first travel to the dutch east Indies. The crew contain 203 men and the captain was Willem Klump. There where also 127 soldiers aboard and 5 passengers.
Captain Klum looked for protection by the bay from the English Hastings. They hit a sandbar and lost course. The captain was forced on 26 January to put the ship on the beach and it worked because of this most of the crew survived it and they also rescued the most of there silver what there were bringing with them.
