Water's Properties

Cohesion is water beads on the floor.

Adhesion is water clinging to the side of the glass.

Solution is if you put table salt in water, the ions on the salt's surface will be pulled toward the polar water molecules.

Suspension is water in blood contains many dissolved compound. But blood also has cells and other particles in suspensions.

Acid is when dissolved in water, acids conduct electricity.

Base is when dissolved in water, bases have a slippery feeling.

Buffer is blood has a normal pH of 7.4 and suddenly changes in the blood pH are usually stopped by buffers.

- If the water pH is below 7 the water is acidic; which means there could be something affecting the water.

-If the water is above 7 on the pH scale than it is alkaline, which is still not what it's suppose to be.

-If the waters pH is showing 7 than it is neutral & that is what it's suppose to be.
