Karl Rahner was a German Jesuit priest of the Society of Jesus, and also a theologian. He had six other siblings and his two parents, Luise and Karl Rahner. Karl was born on March 5, 1904 in Freiburg of the German empire and died on March 30, 1984 aged 80 in Austria.
Karl was raised in a religious household, which influenced the home atmosphere. Karl studied Christian philosophy and theology, Karl attended primary and secondary school in Freiburg and joined the Society of Jesus upon his graduation; he began his career in the North German Province of the Jesuits in 1922, four years after his older brother Hugo Rahner joined the Jesuits.
Karl Rahner was a keen man, his appearance always represented himself of his faith, Karl was a medium sized man, he wore glasses since he was young, he had gentle nature and was always thinking of others needs. His life calling was his faith, to be apart of the society of Jesus, to be a Jesuit priest and serve others.
His dedication to god was shown through his occupation, he was dedicated to his society. Karl dedicated his life to his faith and his beliefs.
