Is visible light easily blocked or can they pass through objects? If so what blocks them or why can they pass through?

Visible Light can pass through transparent objects Depending on the arrangement of atoms. Two main words "Transparent" and "Opaque". think of reflection and refraction. light will pass through clear glass reletavly easy because it does not cause the light to be deflected. but opaque has alot of interference with the light which causes the photons to be sent in all different directions, thus not seeming as clear.
