The main difference between the gospel of John and the Synoptics is that John consists of different stories. Things that are included in his gospel can not be found in the others, and stories found in all of the Synoptics don't appear in John's gospel.

John's gospel also shows that Jesus' public ministry was a different amount of time.

John's gospel beings with stating that Jesus is god and man as opposed to the Synoptics, with start with his birth or baptism. Emphasis on the kingdom of God found in the Synoptics is missing from Johns account.

The gospel of John is written in the third person point of view, unlike the Synoptics. He also includes more dialogue than proverbs
