Paraphrase of the poem

I sit and look out on all of what is wrong with the world
I hear men trying to hide their cries, mad at themselves for what they've done;
I see in poverty and sickness, a mother mistreated by her children
I see the wife abused by her husband, I see a cheater and a player;
I recognize jealousy and people not loving each other, I see this everywhere.
I see soldiers worn our from war, leaders mad with power, I see traitors and prisoners;
I see sailors throwing each other off of ships so that they can survive,
I observe bosses degrading their workers, and black people and all else;
All of this evil, meanness, and suffering that won't end, I watch.
See, hear, and am silent.
