The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. We carry this out through research, community programs, education, and advocacy. March of Dimes has awarded millions of dollars in Missouri for research and programs to help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. It is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health.
