Seasons
The earths axis and the way it is tilted makes our seasons. It affects how much solar energy an area receives on earth.
Winter- the Southern Hemisphere has warmer temperatures and linger days because it tilts toward the sun. The northern hemisphere is the opposite.
Summer- the northern hemisphere has longer days and warmer temperatures because it is tilted toward the sun. The Southern Hemisphere is the opposite.
Spring & Fall- are in between stages of summer and winter.
