Dust, gas, and other particles gather in clouds around a new star.

6.5 b.y.
The dust, gas and particles are pulled by gravity into the new star.

6.5 b.y.
The heavier particles begin to form the core and the lighter ones begin to from the crust.

6.5 b.y.
Gases like hydrogen and helium float to where the atmosphere is.

6.5 b.y.
The earth is still forming its layers and atmosphere.

4 b.y.
The Earth finally finishes forming.
