The original piece of wood was a 14" by 2 1/2" rectangle which I cut with the Miter Saw. I then traced the template, then put a hole in it with the Awl, and used the drill press to drill the hole near the top. The next thing I did was cut a line about a millimeter away from the project line on the bandsaw to make sure I didn't cut to much off. The final thing I did was sand it on the disc sander.

The First Step of The Clock Was Cutting The Sides.
