Both of my grandfathers have served in the US military. Both of them in fact fought in the same war my grandpa on my moms side was a fighter jet pilot in Vietnam, even though he never went into combat because of an engine failure in his plane while flying he still served his country. My grandpa on my dad's side was a non commissioned officer in the air force served his country with pride. My grandma on my moms side was a secretary at the air force academy hospital. And my grandma on my dad's side did worked for the internal revenue service.
