Foreshadowing in Urashima.

Foreshadowing was represented in this short story when the princess stated about the box. "You must never, never open it if you ever wish to return to the Palace of the Sea." This dialogue foreshadows that opening the box will lead to something keeping Urashima from the palace. There has to be something that prevents him from returning.
