Pros and cons of removing waste

Pro's

Removing nuclear waste from a location allows it to not be radioactive anymore and let living organisms thrive there once again. It can also be reused and recycled for energy later. A pellet of waste the size of your finger produces the same amount of power as 1 ton of coal.

Cons

Radioactive waste must be carefully handled and cooled for several years before it can be safely stored. When it is removed from one location they have to store it into a new location meaning they take up old caves, mines, or drill into the ground to store it and that usually leads to residents being forced out of their homes.
