RITUALS AND CUSTOMS-
Prayer- Commonly called “The Backbone of Christianity”. Typical place for prayer is in a church, but its also urged to pray publicly or privately.
Baptism- Marks beginning of life as a Christian. When someone is baptized (usually adults), their sins are forgotten/forgiven and an innocent person emerges.
Conformation- Protestants deny that conformation is a sacrament, but they do use the term to mark the transition of baptized members into full membership of the church including the rigt to receive Holy Communion.
Marriage- All Christians regard marriage as a serious step and commitment, as marriage vows are made to God.
