Everyone that is successful knows the hard work that was put in to achieve their goals and many social media depicts that hard work as well. In today's media success is depicted through money and the popularity that one has but for most of them, their success come with the experience of putting the hard work and effort in it to achieve that goal that ultimately leads to success. For example, Nike came out with a commercial called "Find Your Greatness" (http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2JnYcuRW_qo). The commercial starts out as just a view of a hill and slowly while the narrator speaks, you see a figure of a man coming up the hill. Now, most Nike commercials are these super fit and built men who are athletically superior but the twist is that in this commercial, it is an overweight boy, he's putting in the hard work necessary to be successful in his goal of achieving greatness. He's there, jogging, on a day that seems unpleasantly hot, working hard to keep going. Not only is this boy overweight and running in hot weather but he's doing it slowly to emphasize the point that to achieve greatness, it has to be done with patience. In both achieving greatness and achieving success it's not just about having a goal, it's about coming through with that goal. This kid might seem to most people like a kid who would quit after a week, but he's putting in the hard work. He's there in the heat which mostly everyone uses as an excuse to not do something and not go outside, but not him. He's out there running, slowly, but he's running and that will ultimately lead him to the success that he longs for. To become someone great, someone that would be considered to have achieved greatness, there has to be determination and a will power to keep going. Success only comes to those who work for it.
