When I was younger I could never understand where you were coming from and I felt like I was put upon or attacked all the time. But now I realize what an amazing mother you have been and it couldn't have been easy dealing with me! lol I love the way you always puts other ppls needs before your own. If I need something I can always count on you to try to help me to the best of your ability, even if it puts you out of her way (most of the time). I love our long chats about everything from books and horses to the insights of people's behavior. You have been a shoulder to lean on through the chaos of planning my wedding and has impressed me by going out of your way to befriend Ricky's parents. As I head off to Europe I am nervous but a part of me feels prepared, like even though I haven't done this I have done things like it before with you guys that have prepared me. Because of you, Mom, I am prepared to face the world (literally on this trip) and know that whatever obstacles come I can just picture what you would do and act accordingly and it'll all be fine.
