Judge whether or not Chamberlain's Appeasement policy acted as a protective factor against WWII.

The Policy is associated with the British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain.

Chamberlain adopted the policy for several reasons:
-gave Britain time to rearm
-peace was sought after
-Hitler wanted to fight communism
-his demands were not all unreasonable

How the Appeasement Policy was a contributing factor for the war:
-gave Germany time to build weapons
-made Germany stronger
-encouraged Hitler to be aggressive
