I always thought my name was chosen in a very strange way. My mom and dad both think they came up with my name. My dad's side of the story is that he wanted to name me after an X-Men named Teresa. Her code name is Siryn and she is the daughter of the X-Men Banshee. Her abilities are flight, sound manipulation, hypnosis, teleportation, immorality, and a sonic scream.
My moms side of the story is a different matter. She thought she found the name while she was looking for baby name and thought it was pretty.
