Haka History
The Haka dance was rumored to be created in the1820's by Te Rapahara the Chief of Ngati Toa.
Haka was created to scare away evil spirits, tell the myth of Tamanuiterā (The Sun God), entertainment religious gatherings, and other social affairs.

The Māori were a group of New Zealand Islanders who practiced the same religion, and customs.
