-Lake George area of New York
-throughout the 13 Colonies
-North Carolina was a favorite destination for Highlanders
-Pennsylvania

Did they face any challenges?
-spoke Gaelic but quickly learned to speak English to avoid harassment
-they didn't have very many issues with prejudice because of there tough attitudes
