Signs and Symptoms

Dwarfism is inherited and evident at birth and confirmed with a X-Ray.

Achondroplasia: 1 out of 26,000 to 40,000 births. This is the most common kind of dwarfism. Signs and symptoms include: relatively long trunk and shortened upper parts of arms and legs.

Large head with prominent forehead, flattened bridge of nose, protruding jaw,crowned or misaligned teeth, forward curvature of lower spine, bowed legs, flat, short, broad feet, and double jointed ness.
