Fish: have an adaption to water because they have gills and they can't breathe air so they have to adapt to water to breathe and to keep their scales wet and moist to contain life. They also get around by swimming to the alge to eat and get nutrients.

Butterflies: have an adaption to the flowers, trees and air they adapt to the flowers to get their food and nutrients, the trees is where they sleep at night, the air is how they travel places all over the world.

Plants: plants adapt to plant pots and the earths soil. They need to be outside or inside to live they of course need sun, water and air the sun gives them nutrients and the soil keeps the plant in the ground to help get fertilized and the water cools them off on a hot summer day.
Plants have these adaptions to be inside because a farmer would have a special light to help them grow inside while it's winter so the farmer can have something to eat. They also adapt to outside because they help feed our farm animals during the spring, summer and fall so we also can have something to eat.
