Sundiata exemplifies an epic hero in multiple ways.

Sundiata shows the characteristics of strength and bravery.

Knowing that he was only able to crawl, Sundiata accepts the challenge of his mother to walk and bring her a tree.


At the end of the story Sundiata exemplifies a hero by taking over his rightful kingdom. He gave his people the dignity they deserved.
