How is Erwin Rommel remembered...?

Erwin Rommel was one of Germany's most respected military leaders in World War II. Rommel played a part in two very significant battles during the war at El Alamein in North Africa and d-day. He was given a state funeral, and it was announced that Rommel had succumbed to his injuries from an earlier strafing of his staff car in Normandy.
