Explain why the properties of different fractions make them suitable for their uses.

Properties of fractions:
- ease of vaporisation
- boiling point
- viscosity (stickiness) p

This is because different uses need different types of fractions, so for fuel, the fraction needs to be cooler but for the bitumen we use for roofs, they need to be heated the most.
