Tough-He went out to battle many times and fought through illness, but still continued to serve

Facts:

When he was younger he had an ambition to be an Indian fighter, like his father

Almost lost his life from a serious wound from a battle

Was apart of the Texas Rangers

Had to take an eight year break from all of the work he did in battles




Loyal-Sullivan turned down an important job, because it would have taken him away from his successful presidency at the Texas A&M
