Bertha and Ethelbert had three children together-a son named Edbald, and two daughters named Ethelberga and Edburga. Each was baptized.

In addition to the mass conversion of the people of southeastern England, Bertha and Ethelbert left behind the job of Archbishop of Canterbury, which became an immensely important Church position over the years.
