Weathering and Erosion

Erosion and weathering are different because weathering is the state of breaking down and erosion is the state of eroding.

The water eroded to make a brand new lake and shaped the rocks.

The rock was broken down from the water. This process would have taken a long time to make

The water eroded and made more room a lake.

The water has broken down the rock.

The lake has washed away all the dirt and rocks from the land.

The ground has spilt in half because the land eroded.

The land made a path by washing away the dirt and rocks.(erosion)

The water created a passage for the water to go through and is called weathering
