A rose is a flowers that can vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. Most species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America, and northwest Africa. Species, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and often are fragrant. Rose plants range in size from compact, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach 7 meters in height.
The leaves/pedals are on the stem and they are 5 to 15 centimeters (2.0 to 5.9 in) long.
In the picture, we can sew the chloroplast which are the dark circular objects in the picture. The chloroplast appear pink because it is reflecting the color it does not absorb. In this case, the chloroplast is not absorbing the ultra-violet ray color of red so it reflects it. We also see the stroma which is the dark red mass at the bottom of the picture. The Rose is a hydrophilic plant.
