More about the Great Wall
The Great Wall was mostly built during the Ming Dynasty, which took place from 1368 to 1644. The Wall stretches approximately 5,500 miles from east to west of China. The Wall is often compared to a dragon, it stretches across deserts, grasslands, mountains, and plateaus. UNESCO made the Great Wall a World Heritage Site in 1987.
