The students returned to there campus and ended up recruiting more students. The number of students participating In The sit-ins increased to 1400 in less than twenty days. These groups of students included bother white and black and both female and male. Woolworth ended up closing lunch counters. These sit ins lasted till April 21, 1960. By July 26th 1960 Woolworths was desegregated.
