Connection to Modern World

It describes the narrators repressed feelings of anger towards individual, emotions which eventually lead to murder. Poem explores themes of anger, revenge, and more generally the fallen state of mankind.

My connection to this poem is from someone who I grew up with, shared everything, we were like brothers until he started making bad choices and doing dumb stuff, and I knew all the stuff he was doing was bad so I wanted no part of it and that lead us to fighting and fighting all the time until he just became a ghost and now I rarely talk to him nor see him.
