Who- Stephen F Austin

When- 1832-1833

Where- San Felipe

Why- they agreed to send several requests to the government of Mexico. The request were to resume immigration from the U.S to Texas to exempt from import duties for 3 years and also asked that Texas be made a separate state from Mexico. But they end up never being presented. Later in 1833 they had a new convention that not only asked for Texas to be separate but they even wrote a constution.
