Hazel Grace Lancaster

A teenage girl has cancer and her parents make her go to this support group where she meets a boy named Augustus Waters. At first she wants to just be friends with him but then develops feelings and they travel the world together to meet her favorite author who turns out to be a big jerk. While in Amsterdam Augustus tells Hazel his cancer came back. He asks her to write a eulogy for him and they spend as much time together as possible. Augustus passed away and the author was at the service and gave Hazel a letter Augustus wrote the author and she read it out loud and the movie ends with her saying okay.
